As a QA Analyst II, I worked as an embedded analyst with design to investigate and implement fixes for any callouts across levels. I coordinated and led internal/external QA teams to investigate features and callouts of cross-functional disciplines in globally distributed AAA project in an ambitious deliverable target.


Primary Responsibilities:

  •  Partnered closely with Senior Producers and Directors across multiple live and in-development titles to track feature progress, communicate risks, and clarify technicaldependencies across multiple live and in-development AAA titles.

  • Owned visibility into multiple development pipelines by maintaining dashboards, risk assessments, and status reporting, supporting planning, prioritization, and leadership review.

  • Led and coordinated high-performing distributed teams ranging from 3 to 40 contributors, including external partners, across globally distributed development efforts.

  • Designed, maintained, and executed over 1,000 test cases and strategies, enabling early identification of systemic issues and smoother downstream production.

  •  Fostered a transparent and collaborative team environment through daily syncs, and clear communication of priorities, risks, and next steps.

  •  

Production Responsibilities:

  • Owned visibility into multiple development pipelines by maintaining dashboards in Jira, risk assessments, and status reporting, supporting planning, prioritization, and leadership review.

  •  Review and coordinate with Production about current Feature testing results

  • Authored multiple Confluence pages on potential build status and risk assessment for Internal and External Teams to view.

Testrail:

  • - Created/Managed various test cases for all departments to track the status of as testing progresses.

  • - Designing Milestones and Test Plans to distribute out to the team

  • - Initiating and completing Test Runs


Testing:

  • - Finding, researching, and reporting bugs in engine and in game to ensure quality

  • - Providing detailed code information for asserts, crashes, runtime errors, etc.


Leadership:

  • Led External QA and other analysts in testing for level sweeps and upcoming design features

  • Mentor and train all of our new analysts in game testing fundamentals and the use of our tools and develop and manage Design test cases in the Testrail software.

  • Review and coordinate with Production about current Feature testing results

  • Created Tracking documentation for other analysts and external QA teams to utilize and review
