Everybody's Sad

November 2017-June 2018

Summary

Everybody's Sad is a short VR experience in which you interact with sad, living objects and try to make them feel better. From helping vacuum get unstuck to petting a cactus, help these little friends and maybe learn a little bit about yourself. The whole game has a mini narrative and can be completed in 15 minutes.

Contributions

During Development, I worked as one the Environment Artists and 3D modelers. I was working alongside the Lead Artist to craft a third of the characters and furniture found around the apartment the game is set in. I worked alongside the Designers and Programmers to make sure asset was polished and was able to be implemented.

Primary Responsibilities

- Created a third of all the character models found within the game, as well as dozens of environmental assets.
- Synced directly with Production, Designers, and Artists to deliver updates as well as conduct feedback on assets to improve quality of art and design in the game to ensure product was as polished as possible.
- Communicated and pitched ideas to help improve gameplay experiences for players that led to memorable interactions for players.
-Collaborated with other artists to create 3D assets in pipeline from concept to final product (including any UV Unwrapping and Texturing).
